FlameĀ® Light Blue Phlox delivers gorgeous blue blooms on bushy, compact plants. Very fragrant, each colorful bud starts out a deep shade of indigo and slowly opens to reveal petals of barely-there blue surrouding violet centers. A dwarf variety, FlameĀ® Light Blue is very resistant to powdery mildew and makes a fine choice for containers and small spaces.

Love, Love, Love My Phlox

"I absolutely love my phlox. They are so beautiful and the smell is amazing. I'm actually figuring out where we can plant a lot at my parents' house"

Recovered from late delivery

"I couldn't see any green on this plant upon arrival. I watered it and watched it until a small green leaf arrived many days later. It took a lot longer before I felt it would survive. I planted it in the flower bed and it has taken off, but, as yet, it hasn't shown any flower buds because it is too early in the season."

4 plants arrived okay; 1 plant with dry roots loose in box

"I'm sure the 4 good plants that I received will grow to be good, healthy blooming plants. In fact, they have already shot up a couple inches in the 4 days since I've received and transferred and watered them. However, one of the plants was totally loose in the box, having apparently separated from container during shipping. The roots of this one plant were thus totally dry. This may be related to the fact that the plants were delivered a full day after they were scheduled to be delivered. I'm guessing the delay was due to the COVID-19 issues of the time (April 2020). This may be the fault of the carrier and not the fault of American Meadows. I have had many orders from American Meadows that I have been very happy with. This was the first time I was not entirely happy."

Great performers

"I bought nine of these beauties this past spring. All of them grew up and bloomed this first summer with no hassle. Lovely bursts of blue in late summer that lasted for a couple of months. They received many compliments from my neighbors. Highly recommend."

"Great size, best blue, not fussy"

Pastel Blue

"This is a lovely pastel blue. . It has grown very well in the garden this summer. . No pest or dieseases even though it has been a very warm, humid summer in mid Mo."
