'Blue Hill' Meadow Sage boasts striking, lilac-blue blooms and wonderfully fragrant foliage. A compact sage that works beautifully in border plantings and containers, 'Blue Hill' is both deer and rabbit resistant and tolerates dry, hot weather like a pro. Best in full sun. (Salvia nemorosa)

Bumbees Love These

"These struggled to get started but by mid August were robust plants with many flowers. Both the bumble bees and humming birds really feed on them. Will buy more of these to fill in the flower garden."

Up N. (5/5)

Very unsatisfied

"These plants arrived in very poor condition!! And even with my nurturing are really struggling. I purchased some Floxglove from another nursery. I am sending you a picture of yours on the left and the other on the right. Arleene"

Very Hardy In The Texas Heat Wave

"I was looking for full sun tolerant perennials that would attract Humming Birds and be unattractive to deer. These have been the only plants to flourish in the Texas 100+ degree heat."

Tejicano (5/5)

I would buy this again

"Beautiful flowers"

Rosey (5/5)

I would recommend

"Planted last year, Healthy and nice looking, Larger than expected."

Dont U. (5/5)

Very disappointed

"I spent hundreds of dollars and considerable time planting bulbs and pre-planned gardens. Only one grass has come up out of over 40."

Reporter (1/5)

Yes, I would buy these plants again.

"The meadow sage arrived in a healthy state. Maybe due to the heat of this summer, they did not grow as tall as expected. Now that fall is coming, they are no longer blooming, and are not upright anymore."

Farmers D. (5/5)

i would buy this again

"my first year with natives and this one started out slow then gave me a good bloom later in the summer . love the color ."

Joe (4/5)

Very nice quality, healthy plant

"Plant was small when received but grew quickly and has been moved up to larger pots twice. Even through a brutal heat wave it has done very well."

Cynder (5/5)

I ordered 4 plants and only 1 survived.

"When the plants arrived, the box had been battered, the soil was scattered loose. Only 2 bits of matter could be identified as plant. Only one survived, but it does look good."
