How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
The Shasta Daisies are great plants, hybridized from a European wildflower. They're not invasive like our common daisy, and usually have larger flowers. Whats more, the flowers are classic white, and look great both in more formal perennial displays and in informal wildflower gardens.
In recent years, the hybridizers have worked on this species, creating various flower forms from doubles to all sorts of variations on the original.
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. See our shipping information page for approximate ship dates and more detailed information. If you have any questions, please call Customer Service at (802) 227-7200 or contact us by email or chat.

"I ordered 4 Becky Shasta & 5 Snowcap Shasta daisies to cover a 3' x 3' area -- Becky around the pole, Snowcap around the border. By the second year, they hid an ugly utility pole. Even after the utility company had me dig them up twice in early summer(!) due to work they needed to perform. (Always call before you dig around utilities. ) Butterflies and bees love them!"

"The plants are small for the price. They are healthy and expect them get bigger and spread. I bought them to fill an area with older variety that have waned."
"I ordered 5 3" pots and they arrived perfectly packaged, healthy and no damage. Second day after planting they still look wonderful. Thank you American Meadows!!!"
"These exceeded my expectations! Healthy, Hardy and long lasting when cut@"
"Looks great in my flower garden"
"I was a little taken aback by how young and tiny they were when I got them. I guess I am used to the more mature plants you get from a big box store. However, I asked friends who would know, and was told it is better to plant them younger, so I will see how it goes. They got put into the clay, and look super cute and healthy. I think I might have to wait until next year for blooms due to how very tiny and young they are. But, I am willing to be patient to save money and get a better overall result. Will try to update my review later this year or next."
"Planted and started blooming almost immediately. Health plants that are the centerpiece of the garden."
"I ordered this Shasta Daisy in early June, potted it on a rooftop, and it immediately began rapid growth. By the end of June the blooms were out, and it is still blooming. After multiple attempts to grow daisies on my balcony and rooftop, these are the first white daisies that have succeeded. I thought their bloom time would be shorter, but they are still churning out blossoms."
"My husband gave me a Becky Shasta Daisy bush after I had a miscarriage in 2003. I planted it in a corner of the yard and with very little experience, it thrived while I I did was look at it. Not only did it thrive, it expanded all over the place. My neighbor took some roots and it thrived in different soil. We lost our home and I came back during winter and dug up three roots. I covered it in Miracle Grow and it grew in hard clay soil. It overtook an entire bed with again, very little tending. I Have done everything wrong to this poor plant and it's never failed. Eleven years later, it's still absolutely beautiful. I love daisies and I adore this plant! I have three beds in my yard, and three different homes now."
