Mohawk Viburnum provides season after season of color, beginning with showy red flower buds in spring. Buds open into spheres of fragrant white to pink blossoms. The spicy clove-like perfume delights gardeners and butterflies alike. Flowers are followed by red fruits that mature to black. Glossy, dark-green foliage turns orange to burgundy red in autumn. Four months in and growing great!

"I bought a little under three dozen Mohawk viburnums from American Meadows earlier this spring, and I'm pleased to say that they're growing really well! Mike was very helpful when we placed our order. The viburnums arrived in good condition in small pots (3", I believe), and were about 6-9" tall. I wish they'd been a bit larger, but it is what it is. I believe the viburnum had been cut back before shipping, so leaves and stems were sparse. That said, one or two were flowering when I received them, giving off an incredible sweet-spicy scent that I could smell from about 6' away. Heavenly! In the four months they've been in their new home, they've since grown to about 12" tall and have leafed and stemmed out a good amount (see photo). I'd say they're growing at a moderate growth rate. They haven't flowered again, and we don't expect them to until later this year, but having gotten a whiff of these flowers already this spring, we're very much looking forward to their next production!"
