'Rosea' Turtlehead will burst into bloom in late summer, when most other flowers have faded. This gorgeous native has showy, rose-pink clusters of unusual blooms (said to resemble open-mouthed turtles) that sit atop 2-3' tall plants with leafy green foliage. Beautiful when planted en masse, and tolerant of moist soils and wetlands, Turtlehead makes a unique addition to full sun and part shade gardens. Deer and rabbit resistant. (Chelone obliqua)

Waiting

"Still waiting for it to emerge. Seemed healthy when planted, but very slow to grow. Fingers crossed. Not sure I can recommend it yet"

Great Addition To Any Garden That Needs Fall Color

"I planted 3 pink Turtlehead plants a few years ago. They have grown into a stunning display of pink flowers that require almost no care. They're planted in full sun on the front corner of my house with a downspout close by, so they get all the water they need. It can also get very windy in their location, and I've never had to stake them. They just stay strong and tall. I planted them next to my Coreopsis Moonbeam and the 2 look great paired together. I highly recommend you give this plant a try!"

Bareroot plant

"This product arrived as a bareroot. I planted it per instructions. It sprouted quickly. It has grown very slow but it's the first season. I have high hopes that this will continue to flourish."

Lovely plant

"The turtlehead was healthy and robust little plant upon arrival. Although I couldn't plant it as quickly as I planned, it still flourished and bloomed once in the ground. Excellent stock."

Very hardy and pretty

"Took a while for them to blossom, but they are very pretty. Much prettier if I had planted more than one."
