"I planted this in one section of my backyard border, sprinkling the seeds directly into the gorilla hair mulch and watering. It filled in nicely, with lots of the yellow cornflower and a few touches of blue and some poppies. Oddly it also popped up a ton of a plant I was not familiar with. It never bloomed, but got little purple berries on it. I looked it up today, and it says it is a kind of nightshade. The leaves do not match anything that looks like it is in this mix, and it's not very pretty. Not sure how it got in there, and I am really hoping it's not invasive."
"A great start to meadow scaping our front lawn. I didn't till enough the first attempt, but they sent a replacement at no cost and now after preparing the ground better I've got a nice low lawn of flowers. Looking forward to adding to it in the coming years. Some of the flowers did not come up or died quickly, but that may be because of my late planting in June and that my site is surrounded by black walnut"
"I was so excited about this product when I saw the TV commercial. I planted in spring and couldn't wait to see the beautiful, colorful results. But nothing, nada, zilch. I purchased another pack of wildflower seeds from another company at the same time. They grew healthy and beautiful. I'll be purchasing from them from now on. Lost of time and money. And a BIG disappointment!"
"I wanted to plant a good mix of flowers to hide an ugly, rusted fence, and I found the perfect mix! The colors are just gorgeous and it adds a beautiful pop of color to the neighborhood. Whether you're walking or driving by it just gives the area some much needed pizazz!"
"Bees bees bees. . hummers. . color, joyfullness,…the colors and fullnes( due to my triple seeding the area) along a picket fence above a containment wall. . simply incredible"
"Great flowers along each side of driveway to farm."
"I have a new border along a fence, and I used these seeds to have an attractive start to the garden before the perennials take off. I hope they also volunteer some next year. Very charming."
"I had a large area to cover and wanted something low maintenance and beautiful! Whenever we have people to the house, they're amazed at all the flowers everywhere! It gives the most calming vibe to my property and draws bumblebees and butterflies as well. I can't wait to see it full in after winter!"
"It was easy to plant. Our wildflower section of our yard was beautiful with color."
"I tilled my grass yard and planted this mix. Shout out to the people who made this blend. It has been solid blooms for going on two months. They time out where you are always getting new types of flowers popping up. I do water it frequently because I wanted it to be successful. We have been in a drought so I've watered every other day, and it is doing great. There was one area where I didn't remove the grass as well, and it's even outcompeting the grass now but I do recommend thoroughly removing the grass. Also, I seeded more a bit more heavily than the instructions with no regrets. I seeded nearly weekly in bald spots as well until it grew in. I probably overall used 2x as much as the instructions but it's not overcrowded IMO. Overall mix height is about 18 inches. Beautiful and fun grass replacement. Hope it reseeds well but I'll plant again if it doesn't."
