A native prairie perennial, Rattlesnake Master is extremely adaptable and easy to grow, boasting bluish/green foliage and white blooms with unique seed pods that add texture after the blooms have finished. Perennial.
This unique wildflower gets its name from early settlers using the root as an antidote for rattlesnake poison. It is now commonly used in roadside plantings and wildflower meadows for its hardiness and elegant blooms.

"This was described as easy to grow. However, it is one of the very few pots that yielded nothing. I set up over 40 pots last November to overwinter, and almost all germinated. Most of the customers who wrote reviews report no success. Maybe this is not easy."
