As the name suggests, our Hardy Gladiolus Mix features summer-blooming glads that are more cold-hardy than other varieties, but these are also shorter, making them perfect for planting in containers. Blooming in a wide palette of peachy-pinks, these orchid-like flowers are imprinted with a stunning, stencil-like pattern. Beautiful in bouquets. (Gladilous)

Very pretty!

"They've been growing well in an area that gets ~4 hr of sun. Unfortunately the stems don't really support the heavy flowers so I've been cutting them - they make incredible cut flowers! I did plant them a little spread out, so maybe they would stand up better if I had put the corms almost touching as recommended. Still very satisfied. Haven't gone through winter yet so I can't speak to their hardiness (6b)."

Prettier Than the Photo

"I bought this selection because I wanted gladiolas I did not have to dig up each autumn. There were some lovely colors not shown in the photo which I absolutely love. They are great and long lasting as cut flowers. I hope they come back even stronger next year."

Fabulous flowers

"As part of a planting project in our school courtyard, I had all the kindergarten students help me plant 100 of these bulbs. Almost every plant came up (~90%)! The flowers started blooming in July, and there are still a few late blooms in late August. The different color blooms are fantastic (see photos below). I am truly hoping that these are hardy enough to survive our Zone 6 winter. The only thing that wasn't true to the description is that these are MUCH taller than expected (not 12-18"!) and the flower stalks need to be propped up at times."

Tropical Look in NH

"Stunning cut flower. Each color blooms in waves with overlap so the bouquets are going through and ombré effect. 3rd color (a dark pink/purple) is just now about to bloom as the first (reds with white fringe) are nearly done. Heavy rains have made the bloomstocks sag, but not break. Fingers crossed that they are hardy enough to come back next year in the warm spot of my zone 5A garden."

Nice blooms

"Planted these in front of my house, was pleasantly surprised at how many bloomed. Lovely colors and even attracted some hummingbirds."

Beautiful flowers, vibrant colors

"As a border planting these were stunning. Definitely need staking but a small price to pay for the abundant, beautiful blooms."

Yes

"What bloomed were gorgeous. Not all grew. Maybe next year."

Beautiful, abundant, great value

"Gladiolus is an underappreciated flower and not a lot of garden suppliers have good bulbs available. That's why I love the fact that American Meadows has such a variety of high-quality gladiolus bulbs. One of my favorites!"

I will buy this product again.

"My bag of 40 bulbs were quite 'dry' when I received them. Just a little over 1/4 of them produced plants. However we had a very late Spring here this yr. The ones that grew produced deep red with white borders and a few pink with yellow hi-lights in them. We enjoyed the ones that did grow, but was hoping for more variety in colors. The reds must be the 'hardiest' growers."
