Amazing flowers but beware the gophers
"Amazing flowers that robustly came up. Unfortunately, they were repeatedly attacked by gophers. I planted these in a brick bed lined with hardware cloth. So, one gopher climbed the 12 inches above ground into the bed and began to live in it, eating 3-4 bulbs everyday. I had to dig them all up and empty the bed to get the gopher to leave, then I had to create a hardware cloth cage with squares cut on the top for the replanted bulbs. That saved the majority of the bulbs but was a lot of work. Even so, they have repeatedly tried to get in again. These flowers are worth the effort but don't underestimate how motivated gophers will be to eat them."

"Of the 25 corms only 4 survived shipping. All of them were moldy and most were mushy. I potted them up in containers in my greenhouse (it was still way too cold for them to be outside. I did get 4 plants and 2 of them bloomed. Clearly not a good choice for my pacific northwest gardent but if they had arrived in better condition, perhaps I'd have had more success."

I absolutely LOVE these flowers
"I planted these in groups of 5 . All of them came up and and were a variety of rose,coral, yellow and white . I love them!! The deer have gotten in several times and have eaten Sunflowers, Phlox and lilies but never these. I have a very large perennial garden and these added so much to the beauty of my garden. They start blooming after the oriental lilies . I ordered 50 more for next year."
Beautiful unique flowers
"These have beautiful unique flowers even though they only last one day each plant has put out several buds. I would recommend planting them in a tight group to maximize impact. They don't seem to mind the minimal watering due to the severe drought here in the west and the last few weeks have been over or at 100°F. The leaves looked similar to palm leaves the first few months and now the flowers are rising about a foot above the foliage. It would be nice if the blooms lasted longer than one day but maybe that is what makes them so special 🤷🏼:male_sign:"
Amazingly GORGEOUS!
"These are so beautiful and low maintenance! I used them for cut flowers and at first, I thought they did not last long in the vase - they close at night and open the next morning. . . . but then it dies about the end of the second day. . . . . but out of no where a new bud opens - they are magical!"
Everything looks fine
"I thought the tigridias I had had not survived the winter as they were late by a few months coming up so I bought some more. They started coming up in June. So I now have more tigridias than I expected. They on (both sets) finished blooming on July 30th."
The flower is beautiful
"Only about 60% of the bulbs have emerged, many bulbs were shriveled and small, a few of the emerged plants are small and weak. I was expecting a verity of colors but there was only one color, yellow. The bulbs that are blooming are beautiful. It is disappointing to only have yellow flowers."
