How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
Purple Shamrock, also known as False Shamrock or Love Plant, is a particularly interesting and beautiful member of the worldwide Oxalis family, which includes wood sorrels and clover-leaved plants of all sizes and descriptions. Purple Shamrock has lovely variegated leaves that range from deep green to purple, creating unique and dramatic contrast in borders or containers. Delicate, light pink flowers appear in early summer and bloom until frost.
Try these beautiful bulbs in a sunny spot in your garden or in a container. They are extremely easy to grow; however, bulbs are tender and not winter hardy. They can be grown as an annual or a houseplant. If you live in a colder zone and want them to 'come back' in the garden, lift the tubers in Fall and store in a cool, dry place to be replanted in Spring.
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. See our shipping information page for approximate ship dates and more detailed information. If you have any questions, please call Customer Service at (802) 227-7200 or contact us by email or chat.

"Planted in grow bags as deck edging. They are full and growing well. Plan on buying more for next year."
"Took quite a while to get started but once they did they expanded to 18 in wide and they're beautiful"
"I haven't planted these yet. Happy with the ones I planted last year. They like my north side of the house."
"I love this plant. It's so healthy and lush. I couldn't be happier. Thank you!"
"I planted the corms one year ago. They did well. Then I took what survived early frosts inside where they did well in an east-facing window. Planted them again outdoors and they continued to thrive and multiply in an unusual summer of rain and heat. Surprised to find one or more corms that were inadvertently left in the ground had survived over winter and bloomed again in Zone 5."
"These have done wonderfully well & the color is a great foil to the greens foliage of other plants."
"Not doing well no flowers only a few leaves, not impressed"
"Beautiful little plants. Originally arrived with no rhizomes (just packing material by accident), but it was quickly rectified; great customer service."
"Nice supplement to other plantings, very sweet little plants."
"Better than i expected"
