As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. "There were substitutions for five types of plants, but no information as to which plant they replaced. In some cases it was possible to guess based on color and/or size, but in two cases there was no obvious match at all. This was especially annoying as the solution is so simple: just print up a stack of adhesive labels and paste them over the substituted items - does not have to be anything fancy, just a black and white label printed with a name matching the identification of each plant shipped."
Zone 5 - Four of the Plants haven't grown at all
"I was so excited to plant my first pre-planned garden. Most of the plants are doing well except two of the cone flowers never came up and when I opened the package there was barely even roots in the pot. The Globe Thistle (3 in a bag) never came up out of the ground and its been a month."
