Looking for a show stopping sunflower? Look no further than 'Mongolian Giant,' the largest of all sunflowers, which grows up to 14 feet tall. The blooms grow up to 18 inches wide and beckon to pollinators far and wide. After the sunny flowers have faded come the 1 inch seeds – more than twice the size of other sunflower seeds. They are delicious to eat when roasted, or you can leave seed heads standing to create a feast for songbirds. Non-GMO, neonicotinoid-free, and guaranteed to grow. Annual.

"I planted these just to decorate my yard. I cant even recall what made me choose sunflowers, but I'm of the old adage, go big or go home! These flowers definitely delivered and then some! Absolutely STUNNING flowers. I have gotten so many compliments, and the pollinators have just gone nuts with these! You can see more of my posts about them on my Instagram @dueldors_creations"

Not great germination, but the ones that did are amazing!

"A lot of my seeds did not germinate (I direct sowed outdoors so it's possible they actually got eaten by birds or something…) But the ones that did grow are strong and sturdy and growing very tall! I used to grow Giant Mammoth sunflowers and they grew tall, but they always flopped over and needed support. So far, these guys are like trees with sturdy trunks. I am growing them for seed (for eating), so TBD on how the harvests are!"
