This quick-blooming, fragrant annual has been a staple of the meadow and garden for centuries. Although blooming mostly white, Sweet Alyssum will sometimes surprise with a touch of pink blooms. Growing to be 8-16” tall, this smaller beauty can be planted in the front of the garden or meadow or even in containers. Sweet Alyssum is deer resistant and tolerates partial shade. All of the seed we handle at American Meadows is non-GMO, neonicotinoid-free and guaranteed to grow. Annual.

Still blooming in November after 29 degree night

"Such a beautiful and delicate looking tiny flower. It was 29 decrees last week and while it ended the season for other flowers these little guys are still blooming!"

Dee Q. (5/5)

Best and longest bloomer by far!

"This flower just continues to bloom when all the others stop. Its Oct 28th in Northern Indiana, had a frost last night. No problems. . . . still blooming. Going to try twice the amount next spring."

Sweet Alyssum seeds

"These seeds were fantastic ! Ordered 1/4 pound last year and used then all. I planted them in the spring adding to pots, window boxes and flower beds as a filler for bare spots. Its now October and they still look great. I will definitely order again,"

Susan (5/5)

Beautiful!!

"I purchased 1/4 pound of these seeds as a ground cover for the empty in-between areas of my front porch flower garden so I wouldn't have to weed as much. They've since become a favorite part of my garden. They're easy to grow and beautiful, and every time I walk on my front porch I am kissed with the delicate sweet scent of sweet alyssum. I live in Hawaii where it is hot and rainy, and these have flourished in both full sun open areas to the covered shady areas of my porch. I've covered about 100 square feet and I still have 3/4 of the bag left, so a little go a long way. I am happy to say I will be growing these for a long time."

Sweet Alyssum--You Can't Go Wrong!

"You can't go wrong with American Meadows' Sweet Alyssum seeds! Sprouts appear just a day or two after planted. And they keep on growing into lush carpets of snow-white blossoms. Being short in stature, they're a wonderful choice for the front of the border, where you can show them off. Sweet Alyssum--an all around gem of a seed!"

Great Product

"Quick grower and easy to plant"

Mike (5/5)

Bursting out all over

"I have been planting wildflowers around my property and Alyssum is one of the most vigorous growers. It blooms for months and has become the dominant flower on my property"

Deerfoot (5/5)

Perfect border

"We have a long fence line of alternating arborvitae and roses. Planted the sweet alyssum between and in front of the shrubs. The plants came up quickly, have been showing their stuff all summer and are still blooming and in perfect shape in the last half of October. Very, very pleased with quality of the seeds."

Toivo F. (5/5)

Not your typical sweet alyssum

"They smell wonderful and grew profusely. They were not as neat and tidy looking as the usual garden shop variety. Would not recommend for a manicured looking landscape. Great for fragrance and filling in an area."
