From the sweeping prairies to the rolling hills, the Texas & Oklahoma Select Wildflower Seed Mix captures the essence of these two states in a vibrant, ever-changing floral display. Designed to thrive in Texas and Oklahoma’s specific growing conditions, this mix flourishes with minimal care, providing season-long blooms that return year after year.
With 18 carefully selected varieties, this mix showcases standout blooms like Texas Bluebonnets, which paint landscapes in bold shades of blue, and Drummond Phlox, a brilliant red flower that complements the deep blues of the Bluebonnets. Beyond aesthetics, this mix is a pollinator’s paradise. The diverse flowers provide nectar for butterflies, hummingbirds, and essential pollinators like bees, ensuring your garden remains full of movement and life.

"We put the Texas and Oklahoma Wildflowers seed pack in the clayey soil by some bushes and in corners of our yard and along flower beds. We have had extreme success with every area we placed these seeds in, and have some beautiful flowers."
"I bought the Oklahoma/TX Wildflower Seed mix last fall but didn't get it planted in time. So, I waited until March 9th to plant. It was so fun watching the growth. Now, I'm enjoying my garden and the butterflies and birds it attracts. It makes me smile."
"I bought this mix because I wanted something that would fit where I live in West Texas and to contribute to our local ecosystem. I had an abundance of butterflies, robins, bluejays, and bees with these flowers. I felt like I provided a wonderful service and my yard looked incredible. Even if I let it get a little out of hand :) And as it is self-seeding every year since I've put them in I have had a beautiful yard!"
"I purchased the wildflower seed mix to add colors along the fence line in my backyard. It receives 4-5 hours afternoon sunlight. I wanted to some flowers that required low maintenance. I have not water AT ALL on the flower bed after seeding. I planted half of the seeds in the fall after the first killing frost on 3rd week of November. However, the temperature here at Wichita Falls, TX (7b) fluctuated so much so that seeds germinated in December and seedlings did not survive the freezing temperatures during Dec and Jan. So, I planted the rest of seeds again in Jan 20. This planting was successful and germinated as soon as the soil temperature started to warm up in Feb. Most of seedlings were up by March (Photo 1) and starting to fill the flower bed very nicely (photo 2). I probably lost most of texas bluebonnet in my first Nov planting, so I have only one TX bluebonnet flower in my flower bed right now. Besides the TX bluebonnet flower, African daisies are the first one to flower in my flower bed. I see lots of flower buds of African Daisies and looking forward to seeing more flowers. Will update on how this wildflower seed mix perform in 7b throughout the 2017 growing season. So far, it is great seed mix to add early spring color and loving it!"
"I usually buy seeds from several companies so I am not relying on one, just in case. This was the first year I bought seeds from American Meadows. I planted several acres, not just a plot, and the comparison was astounding! American Meadows flowers grew faster, bloomed earlier and thicker. It is astounding to see the difference in the FOUR different companies I bought from. They are still blooming. From this day forward, I will only buy from American Meadows. I did my own experiment and know the results firsthand."
"Beautiful flowers and lots of coverage"
"First time I tried wildflower seeds. They planted easy and grew quickly."
"We scraped the topsoil and spread the seeds over an acre. Turned out perfect."
"Bought a packet of these last spring, sprinkled them on the ground, watered, and watched them grow. The Scarlet Sage was stunning in the fall and this spring we've gotten tons of vivid colors from the Coreopsis, Verbena, and Indian Blankets. I did mix this Texas/OK packet with another one for our region, however, I think almost all of the flowers came from this packet. My flowers are in full sun. I rarely water and only if the ground really dries out. Very happy with my purchase!"
"Gave this to a friend for his birthday. He scattered the seeds this past year and he just told me he has a meadow of color now in full bloom. Very happy that he is enjoying the beauty of wildflowers."
