Like all Zinnias, this variety is extremely easy to grow, deer resistant, and attractive to pollinators. Growing to be about 30-40” tall, Dahlia-Flowered Zinnias are perfect for the back border of the garden, meadow, or cutting bed. All of the seed we carry at American Meadows is non-GMO, neonicotinoid-free and guaranteed to grow. Annual.

Took too long to flower

"Buds showed after only 3 days but took one week short of 3 months to flower. Daily watering."

Beautiful Dahlias not so great zinnias

"Dahlia came out beautifully, I wasn't so lucky with my Zinnias."

not like the other zinnias i have had in the past

"i see that other people have had good luck with these, but not me. at the time of ordering these, the ones that i normally get ( cut and come again ) were not in stock, so i took a chance and got these. i worked the soil just like i have done with all my other zinnia seeds in the past, i have watered and they have sprouted, but they are very, very, very slow to grow. cut and come again seeds from last year have come up from last year and they are already blooming, where these are only a few inches high and i will be lucky if i see any blooms anytime soon. i bought these and 2 other different zinnia seeds just to try something different this year and all of them are doing the same thing. maybe other people have had good luck with these in the past, but i havent this year ."

Best Flower Seed Purchase I've Ever Made

"Germination rate 95%-100%, excellent bloom color ratio, long lasting cut flowers, all seed no chafe, was a little snafu in shipping but the wonderful ladies in the office promptly corrected that. Don't know who's happier the bees, butterflies, and finches or my granddaughters and I. The Facebook Zinnia groups are regularly advised to order from y'all. Yours Truly Mr. Philip Meade"

Great blooms

"Plants emerged in only a week after sowing. Blooms have spectacular colors and last a long time in a vase. Plants made it through a month of 105-110 degree Texas weather without difficulty."

Grampy (5/5)

Slow growing but pretty, all came with blight

"I bought over a pound of this as well as hollyhock from American Meadows and they all, both items, came with blight and alternaria. So we sadly can't cut them and bring them in. Overall they took a while to flower but are pretty strong. Just full of fungus which is I'm told is hereditary and likely from the batches grown to develop these seeds."

The only product that disappointed me

"This is the only product that i purchased of a large order that i am disappointed in. I really wanted ZInnias. . they are so vivid. No sign of them altho all of the other seeds seem to be doing fine. Sad but still 4 successes out of 5 purchased isn't bad."
