āRomanceā Dianthus. The ruffled blooms of this Garden Pink unfurl in
late spring in shades of salmon pink with a crimson center and are bred
specifically for scent and compact habit. Dianthus makes a fantastic cut
flower, and the spicy, evocative fragrance is sure to encourage you to
cut a few of those sturdy stems for inside vases. Grow in well-drained,
alkaline to neutral soil in the front of a sunny bed or border or get
creative ā Dianthus love cracks between paving stones or bricks. The
spiky, silvery blue foliage is attractive during the entire growing
season and will make a great contrast against yellow flowers, such as
coreopsis, as summer rolls on. āRomanceā Dianthus is deer resistant and
will re-bloom if deadheaded and fed after its initial spring bloom. A
terrific perennial choice for containers too.

"Received VERY small plants. I was a little disappointed because, I could have gone to my local greenhouse and spent the same amount of money for plants probably double the size and ready to bloom, if not with blooms already out. Hopefully, I’ll be happy with them later in the year."
