Ferns

Ferns

Lush and exceptional companion plants for shady perennials

Ferns provide excellent texture in the shade garden, and can be planted as companions to bright blooms, or as stand-alones that deserve undivided attention for their beautiful arching fronds. From deeply-cut to delicate and lacey, you'll have your choice of ornamental patterns and colors - ferns can be light, dark and bluish-green. And if you want to "break the rules" and plant one in the sun, just remember to keep the soil consistently moist.
