How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
Everyone Loves Veronicas. In perennial borders, they have always added great vertical interest with elegant spires of color. They bloom for a long time, and are a snap to grow. In addition, many of the species are native American wildflowers, making the hybrids at home in all our gardens. (Many call them by their other common name, Speedwell.)
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. See our shipping information page for approximate ship dates and more detailed information. If you have any questions, please call Customer Service at (802) 227-7200 or contact us by email or chat.

"Veronica has both beautiful flowers and lovely dark, glossy leaves. First got it in '21, has come back every year."
"I added this to my perennial garden to balance another dark blue/purple Veronica plant and add some more colors. The Veronicas don't exactly match and I'm perfectly happy with that. During this first growing season, it's really taken off. It really catches the eye among a mix of yellow, white, and pink flowers."
"I planted this with other Veronicas and it is quite showy and beautiful-first year."
"I planted Veronica First Glory in front of a row of Coreopsis. The color combination of dark blue Veronica in front of orange Coreopsis is stunning. Veronica First Glory is very compact and easy to maintain. So far the blue spiked flowers have been long lasting without needing deadheading. A very nice plant for perennial gardens."
"I planted Veronica First Glory early this May in nicely composted garden soil that drains well, and they took off like gangbusters. They haven't stopped blooming since the end of June."
"The color was intense, the shape tightly upright on the flower and good tight foliage shape. Survived extremely late planting (Nov. with snow) and came back gangbusters this year. Highly recommend!"
