A gorgeous plant whose blooms announce fall's arrival

"After moving to an area with different pests and climate, I searched high and low for this particular anemone, one of many plants I'd grown for decades but had to leave behind. Imagine my delight to find Honorine Jobert Japanese anemone on American Meadows website. A year later I can report this darling of my garden survived summer's vole attack and grasshopper invasion. Soon its stems will explode with blossoms, a signal of cooler weather and fall's arrival. Needless to say, I can hardly wait."

Didn't survive the winter in the spot I picked, will retry!

"Just moved into this house, and the area, and just starting to work out the sunlight, temps, rain etc… in the backyard and flower beds. Was really looking forward to these. Planted 2 in the fall, and they both did well. But, didn't reemerge in the Spring. We did have 2 very late frosts? Also, the roof dumps a lot of snow where I planted them? Dunno! It happens! If I can find a different spot, I'll happily them again!"

Very disappointed

"Alas, the first two plants arrived almost dead and proceeded to expire. American Meadows was very gracious and sent me replacement plants last fall. I planted them with caare acording to instructions and waited with great anticipatation for the spring. Nothing. They did not appear al this spring."

What a thrill for a miserable year!

"I saw these beauties last fall and ordered immediately and received my little pot last spring. I cared for her until chance of frost was gone and found a partly shaded spot. I have watched it grow rapidly with great anticipation and was delighted to see my first bud. Today, November, I have a full and beautiful bush and am ready to put it to bed but can't wait for next year when it will be just gorgeous. I will have two more plants on the way come next spring. Thank you so much!!!"

Happy, Pretty Plant

"This plant arrived small but healthy and started growing! It has nice dark green leaves to accent its white flowers very well. It starts off as grown cover yet once flowers the stems and flowers rise up from ground. It's a very happy, peppy, lovely plant and versitle. I have it in front of David Phlox."
