199 Lincoln Avenue

"This plant arrived rotted at the base and the stems were mushy when touched. I IMMEDIATELY contacted American Meadows. They responded by saying they were mailing another plant to me. That was 2 months ago, no word, no refund, no store credit. The rest of the plants I ordered arrived safe and healthy. I've ordered seeds from them for years but, I am unlikely to purchase plants or seeds (ordered a lot of seeds last fall, save for the micro-clover, I had ZERO germination from perennial and annual seeds) from this company again."

Disappointed

"I ordered 2, received 1. You sent replacement to billing, not my summer home shipping address so when it finally arrived, it was dead, dead, dead. Several of the other plants/bulbs I ordered from you have not sprouted or grown. I'm a master gardener so it's not my ineptness. Disappointed. Seeds are great, plants/bulbs, not so much."

Plant is healthy

"Great company! I had one of the other plants in my order that arrived wilted and died and Sean reached out to me and replaced it for free! Thank you American Meadows!"

Less aggressive solidago

"Does good on drier sites, doesn't spread via rhizomes like some other goldenrods, so it's a good goldenrod for smaller spaces. Bloomed first year. Very showy, attracts droves of all kinds of pollinators."
