Description
Not to be confused with the bright red window-box flower that are called "geraniums," this is the wild version of the real thing--closely related to the garden perennial geraniums like "Johnson's Blue," and "Sanguineum."
The wild one grows to only about 2 ft. and the wide-open, petunia-like flowers range from pink to purple. Beautiful blooms in early summer.
