Calendula not only provides knockout blooms in the garden, but also can be used to garnish salads and other culinary creations. Growing to be only 24” tall, we love planting Calendula in the front of the meadow or in a small cutting garden near the house, ready to be snipped and added to our favorite meals. Bright yellow and orange flowers ignite the late season garden and are easy to grow. All of the seed we handle at American Meadows is non-GMO, neonicotinoid-free and guaranteed to grow. Annual.

Very nice

"Started some indoors, but little difference in the seeds that were directly planted outdoors."

Beautiful fall drought resistant blooms

"Your seeds are used exclusively at our Children's Petting Zoo. Flowers are used to add to the effect for the children and they love walking through the paths and gardens. We have many groups of ill and injured children and they really love the bright colors that your seeds produce. We love the way the orange and yelow blooms brighten up the paths for the children to wander through."

I buy these seeds every year!

"I love using these seeds in pots on my patio. I also have a large bed of them in my herb garden. The flower petals are a beautiful addition to summer salads! Added to some almond oil they also make a lovely summer moisturizer. The seeds from American Meadows have an excellent germination rate. I've always been very please with everything I have ordered from them."

Best result from seeds!

"Can't say enough about these calendulars. People stop to admire daily. Produces numerous seeds for collection and distribution to family and friends. Must say, I totally admire and love these plants/flowers."

Great Value for prolific perennials

"Calendula is an easy to grow, easy to care-for wildflower. It covers the ground and keeps other weeds down, is water thrifty, and reseeds without any help from humans or mowing. Calendula is attractive, edible, and a great investment for soapmakers and crafters. Calendula has a tendency to escape beds and enter lawns if seeds are not collected at season's end. Plants require sun and do only fairly in part shade. Dry, poor soil is no match for Caldendula. Seeds are large and easy to plant. There are multiple calendula species, colors, petal configurations, so breeding true is difficult: enjoy variety!"
