Love cosmos but looking for a shorter variety? Cosmos Seeds Dwarf Mix is the perfect choice, growing to be just 2-4’ tall. Plant this colorful mixture in the front of the garden or meadow, or add to large containers in your small space or patio garden. Like all cosmos, this mixture is extremely easy to grow, attracts pollinators and blooms from summer until frost, offering up an abundance of flowers to cut and bring indoors. All of the seed we handle at American Meadows is non-GMO, neonicotinoid-free and guaranteed to grow. Annual.

Spectacular

"This is my first year of transitioning my backyard from a construction disaster to a wildflower garden. The cosmos are beautiful and stood up well to the 80 mph winds we got last week."

yes I would recommend this.

"This grows well here and showy."

Sarkis (5/5)

Good option for containers, too

"Nice to have cosmos that's not as leggy and tall. Grows well in containers and raised bed garden boxes."

Kitchen G. (5/5)

Too early to trll

"I planted it last fall and it is too early to tell. Ask me again in 6-8 months."

"Easy to plant, easy to grow"

"I use them in a small flower bed all by there self, what a show they put on."

Grew the best of all the seeds I planted

"I cleared an area of our land in Princeton, NJ to plant a broad mix of wildflower seeds from American Meadows: Cosmos Dwarf Mix plus nearly all the varieties carried by American Meadows that were said to grow well in half-sun. Of all these, only Cosmos Dwarf Mix and Sulphur cosmos dwarf lemon thrived. The area previously had heavy tree cover though now is half-sun, clay ground, fairly wet. The few poppies that bloomed were so beautiful, I'll try those again next year as well."

Wonderful Cosmos Mix

"I just fall sowed 1/4 lb. of these seeds for the second year in a row. These seeds are combined with a 1/4 lb. of zinnias and few perennials in a ~ 6' x 20' bed. The cosmos/zinnia combination was gorgeous last year and it was very popular with the American Goldfinches and butterflies. Both the zinnias and dwarf cosmos had healthy germination rates and were problem free throughout the growing season. I wish that I had photos to share, I will be sure to take some pics next year."

Raves for Cosmos

"Last winter, I cleared a wide bed on the side of my property that boarders a neighbor's yard. When I broke my arm in January, I knew I could not complete the landscaping I had planned for the border. The wide swath of cosmos brought color and whimsy the cleared bed and gave my neighbor a cheerful view from her living room for several months. My setback was her gain."
