'Kunyun's painterly shades of pinks and yellows evolve over the season, producing a breathtaking display in the spring garden or in cut flower bouquets.
Tall and graceful, Darwin Hybrid Tulips produce extra-large flowers in rich, saturated colors. They create a bold and colorful display in mid-spring and are favorites for cut flower arrangements. Darwin Hybrid Tulips are a cross between perennializing early-blooming Emperor Tulips and showy Single Late Tulips. The result is durable, long-blooming flowers with tall sturdy stems, which tolerate fluctuating spring cold and heat. They bloom best in their first season. To encourage their return, plant bulbs in fall in full sun with well-drained soil, where they can stay dry when dormant. After flowering is done, allow foliage to die back naturally to feed the bulbs for next season’s blooms.

Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge.
