How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
Dutch Irises are the elegant ones you always see in fabulous spring flower arrangements. They're just as elegant in your garden, with tall, stately stems and exquisite flowers in a range of colors.
Not to be confused with the even larger bearded or German iris that bloom in late spring, these beauties are early spring flowers, and the bulbs are planted in fall just like daffodils and tulips.
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. See our shipping information page for approximate ship dates and more detailed information. If you have any questions, please call Customer Service at (802) 227-7200 or contact us by email or chat.

"Only 4 out of the 15 bulbs came up this spring. One of the iris is blooming now, but by itself it looks out of place."
"I love it they're absolutely beautiful"
"I planted this gourges flower around a tree and gives a beautiful touch of color , the plants are blooming now 😍 I LOVE THEM"
"One of the bulbs ordered bloomed and was beautiful. I am hopeful next year they will all bloom."
"I have one lonely blade. Not sure if it is your iris or if it is volunteer. Maybe I planted it too shallow, maybe because of sparse rainfall or poor soil."
"Very disappointed to find they are not the color I ordered (Dutch Iris Oriental Beauty). I received very dark blue ones. They are large, vigorous plants with lots of blooms, but I'm gonna rip them out anyway because I really dislike them. I'm glad they were guaranteed, and hopefully their replacement will be as nice a quality."
"This was my first time planting bulbs and I was amazed when they all came up and looked so beautiful. Did find it a bit difficult to know which was the "top" and which was the "bottom" of the bulb when planting, but I must have made the right choice."
