"These beauties popped up in the second to last week in April for some early, and much needed, color in my garden. They really do have coral/yellow/Rose variegation to them like in the description but from a distance is a subtle transition. I also purchased the Gipsy Hyacinth which is similar in color (softer, no yellow). Both are very pretty. I do not detect any scent; which is fine with me. There are 6 bulbs to a bag and only 4 actually grew but they are good size flower and still made an impact with just the four. Very happy with this purchase!"
"I ordered these based on the picture and hoped. It's rare but these are actually better than I hoped for."
"Beautiful, full flowers in a striking color that coordinates well with the Apricot Impression Tulip."
"These just opened. They are beautiful! I plan on ordering more."
Growing Hyacinths: One of the most powerfully fragrant blooms in the flower kingdom is the famous Dutch Hyacinth, the result of hundreds of years of hybridizing a lovely wildflower from Turkey. Their fabulous, colorful blooms bring a sweet fragrance to the mid-spring garden, pairing well with almost any other spring flowers. Plant your hyacinth bulbs close together for a dramatic display, either in groups of one color or a mix of several shades. Hyacinths must have good drainage, so be sure to plant them where they will never be in standing water. With some shade, the flowers will last longer than in full sun. Hyacinths grow well in flowerpots and can be forced indoors for springtime decor.
