Apricot, pink, and white combine in 'Menton' Single Late Tulips, creating a true work of art that varies gracefully in shifting light. Golden apricot frames the pink outer petals, and soft orange center petals boast a white stripe. The subtle variations creating a stunning effect when this RHS Award of Garden Merit winner is planted in large groups. Tall, sturdy stems make an exceptional cut flower. (Tulipa)
Growing Single Tulips: The classic cup-shaped flowers of Single Tulips are the essence of spring. Single Early Tulips grow about 10-14 inches tall and bloom in early spring, creating a colorful pairing for Daffodils. Tall and elegant Single Late Tulips, also called French Tulips, grow up to a dramatic 28 inches tall, gracefully swaying in the breeze. Plant as many as you can for a spectacular display in the garden, and to enjoy in colorful cut flower arrangements. Plant bulbs in fall in well-drained soil. Tulips produce their best color in full sun, but flowers will last longer with some shade. Single Tulips can be forced indoors and used for springtime decor. In warmer climates (zones 9-10) outside their hardiness zone, Single Tulips can be chilled before planting.

Poisonous or Toxic to Animals
Yes - Bulbs, blooms, leaves, and stems all contain toxic compounds, which are most concentrated in the bulb.
"I planted like forty of these right against my porch which gets south facing sun in the spring but is shaded by the building in high summer. I love the color and cheer the orange edged pink flowers bring to what has mostly been a chilly grey spring. They're a little taller than I anticipated but all in all I'm very happy to have them."
