The jewel-like colors of the Yellow & Purple Snow Crocus Mix herald the coming of spring. Well named for their early arrival, snow crocus can be found poking up through the last of winter's snow. Plant in clusters along a path where you can enjoy the cheerful display, and watch as pollinators visit the early season blooms. (Crocus crysanthus)
(3-4" tall x 2" wide) The earliest of spring's
flowers, Yellow & Purple Snow Crocus Mix will gladden the gardener's
spirits with plucky rich purple and golden yellow color before other flowers
appear. The small cup-shaped blooms are best viewed in sweeps of color, so
plant them in masses where they will show off and multiply over the years to
great visual effect. Snow Crocuses open wide in the sun and close up on rainy
days and at night. Easy to grow, plant the bulbs in well-drained soil 3-5"
deep, where they will receive at least 6 hours of sun per day. Lovely along
walks, around trees, nestled in rock gardens, and under shrubs. Plant with
Snowdrop (Galanthus) and Dwarf Iris (Iris reticulata). Deer, squirrel, and
rabbit resistant.

Additional Information
If planting in the lawn wait at least 6 weeks after the crocus has bloomed to mow the lawn.
"Lovely little pops of color for early spring. Planted these directly in the lawn, with about 80% success of blooms and most only 1 flower per bulb. I'm hoping the will spread and fill in but for the first year they did pretty well! They bloomed early march and lasted about 3 weeks."
— Michelle (4/5)
I thought there were no purple ones at first
"At first, only yellow ones were blooming. I thought maybe I had received sets of only yellow. However, once it became slightly warmer outside, all of the purple ones came up also. The yellow ones had many flowers per bulb, while the purple ones were more singular. They have lasted a few weeks already and are still going strong."
— Fleecie (5/5)
Our earliest spring flower this year!
"We planted this crocus mix near our front our walk and were so excited for this first bloom!"
