This native perennial wildflower will thrive in full sun to partial shade and is somewhat drought-tolerant, growing in dry soil. The gorgeous white blooms are formed on compact, bushy foliage and are a butterfly-magnet. Cut blooms and dry for beautiful arrangements.

"I started a small butterfly garden in my yard a few years ago and wanted some pearly everlasting because it is a host plant for American lady caterpillars. Since it was very expensive at my local nursery, I ordered seeds here last year and grew them by winter sowing (in milk jugs). They thrived in my garden last year. They did attract butterflies and the plants are coming back nicely this year. Very pleased with these seeds/plants."
