How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
24-36" tall x 18-24" wide. Heat Wave Hyssop (also called Agastache or Hummingbird Mint) is exceptional selection of Hyssop with good heat tolerance and drought resistance. Heat Wave grows beautifully in containers and hot, dry sites. Plants bloom over a long season and hold their pink calyxes long after flowers fade. Pollinators are attracted to the ready source of nectar while goldfinches love feasting on seeds of Heat Wave Hyssop late in the season. The licorice-scented foliage can be steeped in tea or used to flavor dishes. Flowers and foliage also make lovely, fragrant cuttings. An upright, clumping growth habit makes ‘Heat Wave’ ideal for massing in borders or cottage-style plantings. Provide hyssop with good drainage and plenty of sunshine for best performance. Avoid over-watering once plants are established. Heat Wave is deer and rabbit resistant.

"The color is beautiful, it grew quickly in my garden, bees and hummingbirds love it."
"My wife loves these flowers and they are in bloom when some of my other flowers have given up to the heat. They have grown so fast and have attention grabbing blooms for sure. I may relocate them to a more prominant spot in my garden."
"Pretty sure this is a picture of Persicaria. Persicaria is a great plant. Under utilized for sure. Hardy as heck. Long bloom time. Hyssop is also an amazing plant. Great color. Long bloom. Leaves are full of heavenly scents. You should get both of these plants!"
