Excellent low growing Dwarf Aster Wood's Blue is one of the big favorites among the short asters. Wonderful for edging or the front of the border with fine textured foliage to contrast with the dense flowers. (Aster)

Spreads aggressively!

"This plant is very beautiful and vigorous. I've been very careful when selecting plants to add to my small garden beds, avoiding anything too aggressive. I would not recommend this plant to anyone who has a small garden and who doesn't want to spend time untangling it's runners from the bulbs and roots of other plants. If you have a large space you'd like to fill quickly with little maintenance, I would absolutely recommend this plant."

looking forward to many blooms

"I have begun wildflowers and butterfly garden. I have not previously grown asters. These were planted in the spring and the plants I ordered are thriving. They are full of unopened bloom, so I am anxiously awaiting a beautiful late summer with asters. Thank you"

Very good plant

"Planted with agastache and provided a very compatible color and dense base to prevent toppling. Gradual but reliable bloom build-up to a 2 week peak. Continuing to bloom as early flowers wane. Great and compatible color with oranges and yellows."

I would buy this product again and again

"I lost one of the first plants I received and I called Am. Meadows they immediately sent me a replacement, which is doing great. I am very happy with this company and the quality of plants."

Candy (5/5)

Mass of blue flowers

"Massed them between larger shrubs and let them go. They've filled the space with blue flowers with little care."

Spreading like crazy!

"Did not expect them to spread so rapidly. Would have selected a different planting location . Can certainly move/divide them since they appear very healthy."
