They both died

"They arrived yellow. I tried to save them. One died completely, and one started to come back, but then also died. Seemed to be diseased from the start unfortunately."

Perfectly packaged healthy plant starts

"I have wanted hollyhocks for a long time, but was put off by knowing they don't bloom the first year. I found these wonderful Creme de Cassis plant starts on American Meadows website! The literature online says Creme de Cassis often blooms the first year. With this wonderful healthy plant starts, I'm very hopeful to see blooms this year. Thank you American Meadows for offering hollyhock starts!"

I would not buy this again

"I have ordered several times and more of the plants did not grow than did. Very disappointed. I will not be ordering from this company again"

Hollyhock 2017

"The plant is very healthy. It's what you expect in the first year of Hollyhocks. If the plant survives to next year, I'll reap the rewards."

Healthy plant

"Healthy plant but arrived too late in the season for the Phoenix area."

Cindy (3/5)

exactly like it says

"even with the odd weather we have had, it grew and produced, still is producing beautiful flowers, looks great in the garden."

Panda (5/5)

It's so big!

"I think it might touch the sky. It just keeps growing and blooming."

Sheila (5/5)

Beautiful!

"My Hollyhocks arrived in excellent condition. I immediately planted them and have been enjoying these tall and beautiful plants all summer. The only negative is that some bug seems to love eating the leaves, however the blooms remain fine and simply beautiful. Hollyhocks remind me of my grandmother's when I was a young child. I consider them heirloom plants."
