A sturdy and compact hosta, 'Halcyon' has blue, heart-shaped leaves with heavy ribbing and towers of lavender flowers. A handsome choice for the shade garden, 'Halcyon' is an exceptional way to add texture and dimension to plant groupings. A first-rate perfomer in containers. (Hosta)

Every one is growing and blooming!

"Great looking. Giving a strong border with Lamium and will order more for a shady area I need to upgrade."

I WOULD BUY THIS HOSTA AGAIN

"EVEN THOUGH THE TEMPERATURES HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY HIGH, THESE HOSTA'S ARE DOING GREAT. PLANTED IN WITH MY TREES."

Hosta Halcyon

"The plants arrived in a healthy and hardy condition. I planted them the next day and now in the spring they all survived and are looking good. I am using them around around mature trees as a ground cover."

My favorite hosta:)

"This is my favorite hosta b/c of the beautiful shade of the leaves! It is the most relaxing color! The only problem I had with it was its size, it didn't reach nearly the expected reach. HOWEVER, not only is the bulb young but I also live in Florida which means, alas, my hosta won't be so big as those of you in the North. On another note, since Florida winters are so mild (ESPECIALLY this last one), I experimented with potting some of the hosta in terra cotta and refrigerating them. Those I put in the fridge leafed out over a MONTH before the ones in the ground! I can't believe the difference! The ones in the ground did EVENTUALLY emerge, but if you want them present early on, use a fridge in Florida."

Love this plant!

"I placed this in the edge of a tree line around a camellia. It is beautiful."

Excellent quality, great plants!

"I have lots of shade; these are perfect plants for me. They arrived strong and ready to grow and have thrived through a wickedly hot, dry summer. Great plants, great price!"
