Description
‘Overdam’ Feather Reed Grass (Calamagrostis x acutiflora ‘Overdam’) is a fast-growing cool-season grass that requires little maintenance. The variegation is stronger in areas with low humidity and cool summer nights. It performs best in full sun to part shade, and complements other perennials and ornamental grasses beautifully. Its plumes make beautiful additions to cut flower gardens. Calamagrostis x acutiflora is a native hybrid of plants from Europe, Asia, and Africa, and it thrives in dry climates and lean soils. Feather Reed Grass makes a hardy addition to any backyard meadowscape or perennial border.
