Blue Jean Baby' Russian Sage PP#29281 is a compact selection of Russian Sage that gives you beautiful lavender-blue spires of late-summer color with a more manageable size in the landscape. Gray-green foliage has a piney, sage-like scent and contrasts perfectly with those pollinator-attracting blooms – and it's highly deer resistant. Sunny, well-drained soils. (Perovskia atriplicifolia)

Lovely little starter plants growing quickly!

"Amazingly drought tolerant -- and growing quickly. Quite impressed with how it is holding up in the summer heat. Planning to move from container to the garden at the end of the season."

Sooo disappointed

"The tray of 16 Russian Sage were pretty pricey. They arrived nicely packed, but took forever to get to me. Half of the plants were puny. We followed all the directions, and nearly half of these plants have died, while the other half have thrived. I won't make this mistake again."

Well packaged and heathy

"I used them in various locations on my property. They have grown since May and I can see some blooms (June) already. Can't wait to see it in its full glory. One of the plants got a little mangled during shipment, but I put in a container for some TLC, looks great now, I will plant in garden soon."

EML (5/5)

So tiny, not worth it.

"Will never do it again! These plants were so small they have barely survived and I still don't know if they will. Paid a fortune for them and they were literally in a 2" pot if that. Way too much money for a tiny seedling, if that."

MJ (1/5)

Disappointed

"I am very disappointed in these tiny plants. They took forever to arrive. They were packaged well, but were very small and leaves were yellow. If they survive I would be shocked. I'm afraid to plant them in the ground they are so small and not in the best of health. They should have been 3. 00 plants, not the price I paid. Go to a large box hardware store and buy them there where you can get a gallon for 8. 99. Should have listened to the other reviewers."

Disappointed (2/5)

tiny little plant, one of three is still alive

"I have high hopes for the one surviving Russian Sage. It will be lovely."

Biggs (2/5)

Disappointed

"I purchased 3 of the Russian Sage and 3 Phenomenal Lavender. Website describes product as a 3" pot. My very small plants arrived in 2. 5" pots. Spoke with Service rep and was told the pot depth is 3"…actually it's 3. 5". Gardening pots are typically listed by diameter. Disappointed. I will not purchase from this website again."

Laurie (1/5)

I will buy this product again.

"Love these. I ordered some a few years ago and they are giants now. The pollinators love them and they are such a fun wild piece. I ordered more this year and they are all thriving. Except that one I accidentally hoed over. But I'm holding out hope it'll come back."
