How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
Dwarf Russian Sage only grows to be about 12-18" in height and boasts blooms larger than most! This deer-resistant beauty brings extended color to the sun or partial shade garden, blooming from mid-summer until early fall. A must-have in most zones!
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. "I have it in a container on my steps in the sun, and it began blooming in a few days."
"American Meadows does send small plants but well priced. After a year they are all caught up with their neighbors. I personally prefer smaller garden additions since they skip that catching up phase and grow better/faster right in place. This small Russian sage is great for slipping in and tying a garden bed together and adding some nice fall interest."
"I received Lacey Blue in late spring and placed it on the sunny section of my porch. It sat in the container it was shipped in for a week, all I did was keep it moist. It remained healthy while waiting to be planted and even began to show signs of more growth! I planted it in the new garden and have kept the soil moist and weed free, and I am absolutely stunned that it has two little blooms on it in less than a month! I certainly did not expect it to flower this year, and I am so pleased with the health and quality of my plant. Can't wait for next year's growth!"
