Buy a small quantity and test first.

"Well packed in convenient packages. However I tried planting in three different areas from open sun to heavy shade. Nothing came up in heavy shade. Open sun produced best results but flowers were tiny. (1/4 to 1/2 inch) and far between. Mixed sun/shade produced the same results as open sun. I will over plant this fall and see if next springs results are better. Ground in all areas was prepared according to instruction from vendor. Although I am disappointed I realize it may be more to do with the soil than with the product. Ranged from clay to woodland mix. Follow instructions to the letter. I think some fertilizer may have helped."

2 of 4 did not do well at all. 2 had lots of greenery

"I dug up and aerated al sections of the shady part of the yard and removed weeds. The coreopsis and coneflowers did not do well at all. There seemed to be a few sprouts after about 3 weeks, but they didn't last. The scarlet flax and sweet william did much better with lots of healthy green sprouts and grew to about 5 inches and even saw a few flowers. Hopeful that these are the ones that will come back next year and have more blossoming flowers."

Full of Weeds

"There were a few nice flowers but tons of weeds. Not a carefree wildflower garden. Spent lots of time pulling weeds."

Hoping for more next year?

"I planted my seed in the fall. There were not as much of a variety as I thought I would see. Perhaps more is to come! It is so nice to have a corner of my yard have wildflowers. The bees love it! I like walking around it everyday to see what will come up next! Not as colorful as I would like it to be. Maybe next year!"
