I will buy more of this seed depending on how well it grows.

"Prepared 1000 sq ft seed bed as an experiment. Hand spread 1/2 pound of seed on 2 September. Took about 14 days to see any sprouts. Today is 26 September and the growth is spotty at best. I honestly think 1/2 pound was a bit light. However, I want to give it an entire growing season and see the results by next fall. Plan on wildflower seeds in spring so it's very early to cast judgement. If results are good, we plan on doing another 5000 sq ft of yard. Hard to recommend at this time but looks like I have to."

Great seed mix, even for lawns

"I've been using this mix for overseeding a wild lawn for quite a few years. It grows great within the other native plants I've encouraged growing, including buffalo clover, violets, plantains, and wild strawberries. It's a little more sparse than a traditional lawn grass like fescue, but it also requires a lot less maintenance. I highly recommend this as a component in a mixed-plant lawn. #sweepstakes"

Mixed results (pun intended :-)

"Purchased Southeast Native Grass Seed Mix to fill in back zone of property. Folks on the pre-sale call were very helpful. However, the results haven't been great. I prepared the area in advance, and I kept the area moist after seeding. I can see some grasses emerging although slowly. Not nearly as fast as the annual ryegrass I did in the fall. The area is part sun/shade. I scattered a wildflower mix in with this intentionally, and I actually see more of that coming up. I tested this with a small quantity, and may try something different going forward. Your results may vary, I would recommend a test with a small quantity first."

Good Germination

"First season results on this native grass mix seem good. Will go ahead and do a larger area; we have several areas of Bermuda lawn on our five-acre site that we will be converting to native grasses. Our next sowing will be a fall sowing; we expect to see more of the varieties."

Good success with this

"I had good success with this mix. Used a seed mat (on a light slope) to keep the seed in place leading up to germination. I mixed this with the southeast native wildflower mix."
