Description
'Karma Corona' Dahlia originally hit the market as a cutting dahlia but has since become a favorite in gardens worldwide. A mid-size dahlia in both flower shape and plant habit, 'Karma Corona’s five" blooms don’t overwhelm bouquets or garden pairings. The color combination of soft peachy yellow touched with violet is so versatile, you won’t have a problem finding partners to pair it with. 'Karma Corona' Dahlia is a professional choice for those who would like to cut their dahlias to bring inside, but who also wish to use them to elevate the summer garden.. ‘Karma Corona’ is a cactus type dahlia, so blooms are spiky and the petals are ray-like and well separated.
Dahlias are perennial in zones 8-10, but in cooler zones, tubers can be dug after frost comes, stored over winter, then re-planted the following spring. Grow Dahlias in a sunny spot, in average soil that drains well. Keep moisture consistent once it begins to grow and enjoy a non-stop color parade. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage more flowers and pinch off small side buds to encourage larger flowers if desired.
