(18-22" tall x 12" wide) Cannasol™ Happy Carmen Canna Lily has beautiful deep red blooms are held on well-proportioned compact foliage – making it a great choice for containers or massed in front-of-border installations. Plus, adding it to a deck or patio planting will delight the bird lover in you since those deep red blooms are extremely attractive to hummingbirds. Cannas make the most out of your summer garden as they thrive in heat and humidity and continue to flower up until frost. They are moisture lovers and prefer good, rich soil, but can flower in light shade if a full-sun spot is not available. The Cannasol™ line is certified virus free. In fall, gardeners in zones 3-6 can dig the fleshy, shallowly rooted tubers and store them in a frost-free garage or basement over the winter.
