Description
Boasting abundant blooms in elegant shades of rosy pink, 'Bacardi' Decorative Dahlia lends a sophisticated touch to mixed plantings, where it is a charming complement to other Dahlias and perennials. Dahlias are perennial in zones 8-10, but in cooler zones, tubers can be dug after frost comes, stored over winter, then re-planted the following spring. Grow Dahlias in a sunny spot, in average soil that drains well. Keep moisture consistent once it begins to grow and enjoy a non-stop color parade. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage more flowers and pinch off small side buds to encourage larger flowers if desired.

"These American Meadow tubers showed up in WONDERFUL shape, big and healthy-looking clumps! I put these tubers in relatively late during the season (the last week of June). . . along with Cafe Au Lait, Boom Boom White, Aluna Clair, and Prince of Orange, and Karma Corona. The Bacardis were the first to take off and they have pumped out a CRAZY amount of blooms for the last two months! I have been extremely impressed with these tubers from American Meadows and their customer service when helping me out with my Prince of Orange! I most definitely recommend!"

"Dahlia tubers were very small and have barely set up any foliage. I will not get any flowers this year. Hoping that the tubers are growing and will be able to produce next year. Very disappointed"
