‘Vulcano’ Nanus Gladiolus dazzles with vibrant fuchsia color in the early summer garden, making vertical accents easy. Nanus Gladiolus are dwarf varieties that give you all the beauty of a traditional Gladiolus in a more compact form, making maintenance easier! They are also perennial in zones 5-8 making them more cold hardy than other varieties. Each strong, slender spike boasts up to seven blossoms of deep pink with touches of white and violet, drawing pollinators and making for striking cut flower arrangements. (Gladiolus)

Exquisite blooms!

"The blooms on these glads were beyond what I was expecting. I have never seen one like it. I love them so much that I am ordering more!"

Planning to give these another chance

"I planted these in a border that gets several hours of sun. All but one came up, but growth was slow. Only a few bloomed, and the flower stems all flopped over and drooped; there were no upright stems. The flowers all needed to be staked up. The flower color was much more pink than I'd expected from photos, and the foliage was more of a blue-green. The location I put them in may have been too dry, though I watered them regularly. The leaves have died off already. Other Gladiolus bulbs I planted beside them are doing well and looking healthy. So, I'm not sure about these, but I want to give them another chance. I'm planning to try them in another location, maybe even a pot - provided the bulbs are still alive when I dig them up soon. The problem I normally have in my garden is that plants grow too well, so this was a rare disappointment. I'm hoping I'll get the chance to amend this review with more positive results next year."

Stunning, beautiful

"Short-lived wonders! Plant a few each week for about 3-5 weeks to extend bloom time. Planted with orange cosmos and Victoria Sage . . . STUNNING."

Beautiful color

"First time planting gladiolus, and they are just spectacular! These started blooming end of June after I got them in the ground the end of April, and I was so impressed with their color and beauty. Glad these are hardy and hopefully will come up again next year. Really beautiful as cut flowers for the table."

Lovely color

"These are a lovely color. Not as big or sturdy as regular gladiolas, but I love the color and shape of them. I am hoping they will come back more next year. Would be good with several planted together."
