"This grew beautifully at the front of the dahlia garden. I wanted to make sure this small but mighty flower wouldn't have to compete for sun. There have been lots of great blooms. Among this group of dahlias (Golden Scepter, Great Silence, Purple Gem) it may be on the smaller side but it stands out with its intricate pattern and beautiful shade of purple."
'Franz Kafka' Pompon Dahlia proves that great things come in small, perfectly petaled packages. This charming variety produces abundant pink blooms with tight, rounded form—each one a miniature marvel of symmetry and texture. Blooming from summer to frost, it’s a non-stop performer in the cutting garden.
Its petite size doesn’t limit its impact; in fact, it shines in arrangements, mixed borders, or tucked into containers. Grow it in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil, and you’ll be rewarded with bouquets of color and charm all season long.
