In late summer, stout stems rise above the foliage bearing generous clusters of large, soft pink trumpet-shaped flowers that open in succession over several weeks. Each bloom carries a sweet, lily-like fragrance that drifts across the garden, especially in the warm evening air.
A classic hybrid dating back to the Victorian era, Powell's Crinum has earned its place as an heirloom favorite for good reason.
