Shipping
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. "I ordered two of the low grow collections and the Whimsical pre-planned garden. I have attempted gardens in the past with very mixed results (mostly failures). This year I decided I was just gonna go for it and let someone else do the planning for me. I did have some reservations about ordering plants on line because I've ordered fruit trees online before and they arrived quite dead. I am happy to report that ALL of the plants I ordered from American Meadows arrived happy and healthy. I planted them the very next day and they are still thriving. All of the bare roots I planted have come up except for one single peony. I'm giving it a little more time before I make the call to replace it. In any case, to have only one slow starter out of 30+ shipped plants is really exciting! 100% worth it to have the planning map and seasonal rotation already done so I can just enjoy watching it all grow."

"Loved how this was presented as a pre-planned gorgeous display. And the video tutorials have been super helpful. Some of the plants are growing very well. Some didn't do so well. But they are perennials and I know they need time. So jury is still out with fingers crossed!"
