"They're pretty drought hardy too, I planted them in our garden beds and I haven't really watered them at all, but they've produced a ton of flowers and have made for very hardy plants. I'm pleased with their ability to attract beneficial insects~ The flowers also made excellent material for flower arranging."

"The marigold have come in nicely but the flowers are smaller and don't have that rounded dome shape that is more typical for marigolds. The color is pretty but there are fewer flowers to more greenery than I anticipated."

"I purchased the 1/4 lb bag in 2019 and covered 3 beds with marigolds, plus threw extra seeds on my gravel area and they all sprouted--about 400 square feet of marigolds mixed with zinnias. Gave extra to friends and family. Did the same for 2020 and the only bed with anything is the one where I left the plants from 2019, spread those seeds, and added the 2020 seeds on top of them. I used the whole 1/4 lb bag on my lot without giving to friends because I couldn't get anything to germinate. Disappointed to say the least. It's been a colder spring here in the suburbs of Philadelphia, but at this point, after two rounds of seed spreading (once in May, once in June) I won't have marigolds in 2 of my 3 beds and am scrambling for more annuals to assist with my monarch waystatio since I've got a bumper crop of milkweed and expect a lot of visitors. I've even done extra fertilizing and watering--I can see the seeds since I typically do an above-ground scatter, but no germination."
"This is my first summer gardening with purpose- I scattered the seeds in several different areas to see what the marigolds like in my current location. I also grew one tray of se. . . They seem to do well anywhere. I'm very impressed! I've even moved seedlings multiple times- and they get settled so quickly. They are just SO agreeable! My only issue is that is seems like the seeds scattered are the tall ones and the seeds started in trays are the short ones- I don't understand the mix or what to expect- or why it worked out that way."
