How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
Stunning Dahlias have taken the gardening world by storm. They’re available in a broad range of flower forms, with colors ranging from soft pastels to vivid hues to deep rich shades, and they’re a must-have for cut flower bouquets. Dahlias are perennial in zones 8-10, but in cooler zones, tubers can be dug after frost comes, stored over winter, then re-planted the following spring. Grow Dahlias in a sunny spot, in average soil that drains well. Keep moisture consistent once it begins to grow and enjoy a non-stop color parade. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage more flowers and pinch off small side buds to encourage larger flowers if desired.
Our Harmonic Dahlia Collection covers roughly 18 sq ft, and includes 18 tubers:
1 x Bag of 3 'Lavender Perfection' Dinner Plate Dahlia
1 x Bag of 3 'Genova' Ball Dahlia
1 x Bag of 3 'Firepot' Decorative Dahlia
1 x Bag of 3 'Cornel Bronze' Ball Dahlia
1 x Bag of 3 'Crazy Love' Decorative Dahlia
1 x Bag of 3 'Jowey Winnie' Ball Dahlia

"I planted these and almost 4 months later, I've only harvested 3 flowers. To say I'm disappointed would be accurate. The ones I've cut are beautiful… but out of 13 plants (I planted 16), I figured I'd have more by now. BTW, snails love these flowers! I'm having a beast of a time keeping them away!"
"17 out of 18 tubers are growing. I'm not sure all will get blooms though, mainly from user error and not planting them in enough sun. I'll definitely dig them up for next year but will plant them in containers instead of within my pollinator garden. I don't think they are a good combo with native plants."
