"I chose a strip next to a meadow. I rototilled just enough to stir up the dust. I dumped out seeds right before a rain. Our neighbors did the same with another brand of wildflower seeds, heavy tilling , lots of watering, carefull broadcast of their seeds. Mine did nothing for a month while theirs did a quick blast of flowers and then they were done. Mine have been gorgeous all summer! November and they were still blooming right up until the first frost."
"First time trying seeds and couldn't be more happy. I followed the instructions on how to spread the seeds and within a few weeks, I had small sprouts - 3 months later, I have zinnia that are over 5 feet tall! I dropped the seeds much more densely than I needed to, so for the future, I will not order a 1lb mix, but that was a beginner's mistake of thinking most wouldn't take."
"I planted them 2-3 years in a row and they worked perfectly. Then I mixed them with other varieties of flower seeds to get more color, etc. The deer actually laid down in the middle, a doe and 2 fawns, and ate all but the ones that were resistant. I thought maybe the restisant ones would keep the other ones "safe" from the deer but I was wrong."
"The deer usually eat anything I plant. I mixed with some other seeds, the deer did not eat them a first for me."
