My favorite

"The fragrance of Miss Saigon is absolutely marvelous. I force them over the winter, and their fragrance greets me in the mornings as I come down to the kitchen. It's the best aromatherapy for the winter blahs! Plus, they are a lovely color."

Mass planting. All bloomed. Beautiful.

"All bloomed."

Wonderful for forcing

"I cannot attest to this bulb's performance in the garden, but it is far and away one of the best performing hyacinths I have ever forced for winter blooms. I have chilled many different varieties of hyacinth--including Carnegie, Blue Jacket, Woodstock, Pink Pearl, and Gypsy Princess--using the "paper bag in the fridge" method . Miss Saigon is perhaps the only variety that has looked as big and glorious as hyacinths grown in an actual garden. The flower stalks have been perfectly formed, with large flowers clustered closely together. They haven't had the spindly look so common in forced hyacinths. Carnegie is perhaps the only other variety that has been so consistently well-formed. Contrary to what one of the other reviewers has stated, American Meadows does provide the bulb size. If you click on the details section, it states that the bulbs are 15/16 cm, which is a perfectly respectable size."
