"Beautiful flowers calming vibes"
"I live on what was originally a meadow and was mowing it as lawn. I've decided that I love having meadow flowers to help pollinators and all of nature thrive! The flower mixture I planted for my zone, 6b, thrived and bloomed from late May through July and continues to bloom now in late August and hopefully through September! My family and friends have done photo shoots with their children and my neighbors tell me just driving by makes them happy to see the colorful 8 feet by 70 feet wave of color!"
"Put this in my lower field. I will say their price is excellent. I wish there was more color in the mix, but maybe it's my soil. It still might be early in the season. Lots of cosmos. Some poppies came up and also what I'm guessing is lupin. Real test will be if it reseeds itself. I'm zone 5, east coast"
"I had great success with my pollinator meadow! It's gorgeous! Neighbors comment daily and family and friends stop by to take photos! I will definitely buy more seeds and add to the meadow next spring!"
"They are so beautiful!!! I have ZERO gardening knowledge, I literally just threw the seeds on the ground and watered them, and boom! Sooo many beautiful flowers, they are so tall and colorful! They bring me so much joy, I wish I had more space to plant more."
"Easy instructions for beautiful and diverse flowers. This seed bag attracts so many bees, birds, and hummingbirds. We love the variety of colors and height of the flowers."
"A large circle in the clients driveway was dug up. I had great success last year with the giant cosmos. This wildflower mix worked incredibly."
"I didn't think it was possible but these seeds produced cosmos that were 7' tall with thick stems like jumbo sunflowers. They didn't produce flowers, either. These super-large plants took over the space I tilled and prepared, chocking out every other flower, save for a few marigolds. To be fair, I'm not certain what factors caused this, though I've planted similar mixes in the past that didn't produce such weird results."
"I used this product several times. One application was seeding a hillside going to the beach, where erosion destroyed the original flora. It has helped fill in between beach grass and new rugosa roses. About application was a small area under a large pine in full Sun where I had removed all flora to get rid of weeds and old groundcover junipers. I did not yet know what I wanted here. The first year I had gorgeous cosmos, second year a glorious mix with lots of plants not yet flowering. These appeared this year as a mass of biennial sweet Williams that were gorgeous and smelled heavenly. I let everything seed in. I see lots of plants already there for next year. Also tons of beautiful coreopsis. I couldn't be happier"
"I have visions of a beautiful meadow of wildflowers on the slope in my backyard. Nothing but baby's breath has flowered and it has been at least a month. I think it would be helpful if American Meadows offered pictures of what the greenery looked like when just getting started. I did plenty of appropriate preparation except for the sand didn't cover all my areas. I'd like to be able to know what is a weed and what is expected just super slow growing."
